Living in the Moment

Bio: I am a retired psychologist who in 2015 was diagnosed with fronto--temporal dementia. Hopefully, I will be able to follow my plan of sharing my days, living well with dementia. As a dementia advocate I plan to show that life does go on after such a diagnosis. I hope to educate, support and encourage people to gain a better understanding of the disease....the ups, the downs and everything in between. As an advocate I now regularly speak in open forums about the condition - I participate in research and sit of many committees, trying to improve the lives of people living with dementia and their carers. Please join me on my journey.
